Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Bishop Cotton Boys' School online admissions portal ("the Portal"). By registering on or using the Portal you agree to be bound by these terms. You must also accept them when you submit an application.

1. Who May Use the Portal

The Portal is intended for parents and lawful guardians applying for admission of their child to Bishop Cotton Boys' School, Bengaluru. Access is granted through an account registered with a valid email address that you have verified. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and must notify the School immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

2. Applications

  • Each account may submit one application per admission form, unless twins or triplets have been declared on the dashboard.
  • All information you provide must be true, complete and supported by the documents you upload. Any false statement or misrepresentation will lead to the rejection of the application or cancellation of admission.
  • Once an application is submitted, no changes can be made to the application details or documents.
  • Applications are accepted only while the admission form is open, between the dates published on the Portal.
  • Submitting an application, or paying the application fee, does not guarantee admission. Selection is made according to the School's admission process as published on the Portal.

3. Application Fee and Online Payments

  • The application fee is payable online after the application is submitted. An application is not complete and will not be considered until the fee has been paid.
  • The application fee is non-refundable, whatever the outcome of the application.
  • Online payments are processed by PayU Payments Private Limited, a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. By initiating a payment you also agree to PayU's terms of service. The School does not store card details.
  • A payment is considered complete only when the Portal shows the application as paid and an email receipt is issued. If your bank shows a debit but the Portal still shows payment pending, do not pay again — the status may take up to 48 hours to update.
  • Refunds are made only for duplicate payments or payments affected by a payment gateway error, as set out in the Refund Policy.

4. Admission Conditions

  1. Incomplete forms will be rejected.
  2. Forms with incorrect information will not be considered for the draw of lots.
  3. Application for admission will not guarantee a seat.
  4. The School will communicate admission details via email.
  5. Attested copies of the corporation Birth Certificate must bear the child’s name.
  6. Parent’s of CSI candidates must submit the Baptism certificate of the child and the parent’s church membership letter indicating the period of membership (issued by the Presbyter-in-charge).
  7. Self attested photocopies of the parents' (both) highest educational qualifications are mandatory.
  8. Caste Certificate (in case of SC / ST) issued by Tahsildar.
  9. BCBS/BCGS Staff / Govt / IT to attach current working certificates.

5. Prohibited Use

You must not:

  • Share your login credentials with any other person.
  • Attempt to access applications or documents other than those of your own account.
  • Upload documents that are forged, altered or belong to another person.
  • Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to interact with the Portal.
  • Attempt to circumvent any security measure on the Portal.

Any form of influence or third-party intervention in the admission process shall result in immediate disqualification.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the Portal available at all times, especially while applications are open, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. During periods of high demand the Portal may be slow; your progress is saved as a draft and you can log in later to complete the application. The Portal may be taken offline for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons beyond our control. The School is not liable for any loss arising from Portal unavailability, including an application that could not be completed before the closing date.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the School's liability in connection with use of this Portal is limited to the application fee paid. The School is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from use of this Portal shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

9. Changes to These Terms

The School reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Portal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The version in force when you submit your application applies to that application.
